About the EP:
I wrote It’s getting cold outside about a person who would only make an effort to stick around if they had an excuse. I was never enough, and we were always circumstantial. Have you ever felt circumstantial?
I wrote TakingMyTime about those imperfect mutual breakups. You F⭐d up, they F⭐d up, and it just wasn’t working. Sometimes you have to move on even if neither of you wants to, and its okay to take your time while doing so.
I wrote Just Maybe about all of the times someone has told me I will never be good enough to make it as an artist or I have to do it “the right way”. I decided the best thing to do was make a song about it in my own style anyways!
I wrote Rainforest Cafe about getting older and wishing you could go back in time because it isn’t what you thought it was, and you feel like you took advantage of the “good old days”
